What data Brain collects, why, who it is shared with, and the choices you have.
Last updated: 10 October 2026
1. Who we are and what this covers
This Privacy Policy explains how Brain ("Brain", "we", "us") processes personal data when you use the website braintrade.ai, the Brain Telegram interface and related services (the "Service"). It should be read together with our Terms of Use.
2. Data we collect
- Telegram data: your Telegram user ID, username and the messages you send to the Brain bot, so we can identify your account and respond to you.
- Exchange connection data: the exchange you connect and the API key you provide. Keys must be trade-only; we never ask for withdrawal permission or for your exchange password.
- Trading data: balances, positions, orders and trade history on the connected account, which the Service needs in order to run strategies, manage risk and calculate fees.
- Billing data: net realized profit and fee-eligible profit per period, fees due and payment records (USDT or $BRAIN transaction details).
- Wallet data (Telegram mini app): the BNB Chain wallet address you submit and, if you connect a wallet through WalletConnect or MetaMask, a signed message that proves you own that address. We never ask for or receive your private keys or seed phrase.
- $BRAIN balance and payments: your in-app $BRAIN balance and the records of payments and fee settlements you make in the app.
- Demo activity: if you use demo (paper-trading) mode, the strategies you run and the simulated trades and results on your virtual capital.
- Bot check: when you use certain forms or the mini app, Cloudflare Turnstile checks that the request comes from a person and not an automated bot. It processes technical signals such as your IP address and browser characteristics.
- Contact data: your email address and message if you write to us.
- Website data: basic technical information such as pages visited, referrer, device and browser type. If analytics is enabled we use a privacy-friendly, cookieless tool that does not identify individual visitors.
3. How we use your data
- to provide the Service: execute and manage strategies on your connected account;
- to calculate and collect performance fees, verify wallet ownership and record $BRAIN balances and payments;
- to run demo (paper-trading) mode;
- to send you notifications, reports and support replies;
- to keep the Service secure, prevent abuse and comply with legal obligations;
- to understand how the website is used and improve it (aggregated statistics only).
We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
4. Legal bases
Where data-protection laws such as the GDPR apply, we process your data to perform our contract with you (running the Service), to comply with legal obligations, on the basis of our legitimate interests (security, improving the Service) and, where required, with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
6. How we protect your data
We use technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including restricting access to API keys and trading data to systems and staff that need it to run the Service. Because Brain is non-custodial and uses trade-only keys, it cannot withdraw funds from your exchange account.
You can revoke the API key on your exchange at any time; the Service stops trading on your account immediately after that.
7. How long we keep data
We keep account and trading data for as long as you use the Service and afterwards only as long as needed for fee settlement, dispute handling, security and legal record-keeping. Revoked API keys are deleted from active use. Aggregated website statistics do not identify you and may be kept longer.
8. International transfers
Our service providers may process data in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. You can also complain to your local data-protection authority.
To exercise your rights, contact us at info@braintrade.ai. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
11. Children
The Service is not intended for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
12. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version, and material changes will be announced through the Service.
