General Security Rules

When creating an API key, it is important to enable only the permissions that are required for trading.

Do not enable the following permissions:

• Withdrawal / Withdraw
• Transfer
• Internal transfer
• Funding withdrawal
• Universal transfer, if such an option is available

Do not share your API Key and Secret Key with third parties.

Secret Key is usually shown only once. Save it immediately after creating the API key.

Before connecting the API, make sure that the futures section is activated on the exchange if the strategy works with futures. On some exchanges, it may also be necessary to enable the Hedge Mode position mode in the Futures / Derivatives settings. If this setting is not available or is already enabled by default, no additional action is required.

If the API key was created with incorrect permissions, it is better to delete it on the exchange and create a new one.

If needed, the user can delete the API key at any time in the exchange account settings.
